Betty and Barney Hill: Recordings

A cool link came through my Google Alerts today -- an old case, but a classic: The Betty and Barney Hill Abduction.

I remember watching the made-for-tv movie of this, when I was very little. It was one of my first introductions into UFOs.

These are the actual hypnosis-session recordings. The audio is obviously old and deteriorated, so it's a little hard to hear, but worth it if you're interested.

The Infamous Kevin Arnold Sighting

Many of you Oregonian UFO enthusiasts know well of this incident, and I don't go in for the "old" cases, much - but this was a relevant Pacific Northwest incident, so fuck it. It was in my alerts so I'm gonna post it.

Summary:

There have been UFO sightings ever since man roamed the Earth. There exist many paintings of centuries past that depict unusual flying objects in the sky. Folklore of many early peoples are filled with stories of strange objects flying through the skies. However, most Ufologists credit pilot Kenneth Arnold's UFO sighting of 1947 as the beginning of the modern UFO age.
Search for Missing Plane:

On June 24, 1947, businessman Arnold was using his plane to help search for a missing aircraft. He was flying over the Cascade mountains.
